During the International Waterworks conference "Modern Equipment and Management of the Waterworks Systems" in Vrnjacka Banja, Meris Company presented the equipment of its principals Endress+Hauser, Erhard and Flygt.

MERIS was, together with its principals, the general sponsor of this conference which was held from October, 6th to 8th 2004. Representatives of the principals Dr Kirsten Mueller (Endress+Hauser product manager), Yves Houwermeiren (Erhard Export Director) and Per-Ake Lindstrom (Flyght Export Director) greatly contributed to the professional success of the MERIS company on the conference.

As the general sponsor MERIS organized a lottery for all of the participants. Valuable prizes which were awarded on that occasion were Ready drainage pump (Flyght), pressure transmitter (E+H) and butterfly valve (Erhard).

Conference and the exposition booth were visited by a great number of representatives from waterworks, engineering firms, government institutions and equipment producers. The organizers were "Society of Water Technology, Society of waterworks and waste water treatment Serbia and Montenegro", Institute for water economics "Jaroslav Černi" and Economic Chamber of Serbia.

MERIS - STRATEGIC PARTNER OF FLYGT, WORLD LEADER OF SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS AND AGITATORS

As of September 18th, company MERIS represents in Serbia and Montenegro ITT Flygt, world leader of submersible pumps and agitators.

ITT FLYGT has chosen MERIS for its strategic partner on the market of Serbia and Montenegro. Contract has been signed in June by Mr. Per-Inge Birgersson, managing director of Flygt and Mr. Zoran Dželatovic, director and owner of Meris. It is expected that, besides its leaders position, Flygt will be present on the market more intensively in the area of marketing, technical support and better services.

With this partnership, MERIS completed its offer in water systems. MERIS presentation on the Technical Fair

As in the last few years, company MERIS was presented again on the 45th International Technical Fair in Belgrade, from 10th to 14th May. Meris exhibition was one of the most visited. The exhibition and the whole concept of the MERIS fair presentation were highly evaluated. Meris presented the complete product program of its principals and among these, Endress+Hauser was on central place.

The visitor's attention was mostly concentrated on the new serial of processing meters for flow, pressure, levels, chemical analysis and flow measurement in flumes and half-filled pipes.

On this Fair, more than 700 companies had presentations, and about 200 of them were from abroad. It seems that this year about 100.000 people visited Belgrade Technical Fair.

EXIBITION ON THE WHEELS - "DEMOCAR"

In cooperation with its principal Endress+Hauser the MERIS company organized the exhibition of measurement instruments - on the wheels called "Democar" from April 5th through April 9th 2004. The exhibition was held in three cities: Novi Sad on 5th, in front of the Technical Faculty and on 6th in TE -TO Novi Sad; in Belgrade on 7th and 8th, at the Technical Faculty in front of the "Vuk" monument and in Krusevac on 9th of April on the FAM new location.

The exhibition consisted of the equipment of processing meters of the flow levels (liquid, steam and gases), pressure, temperature, analyses (pH, Redox, O2, murkiness, etc.), recording devices, indication instruments etc.

The exhibition was placed in the truck, size 16x6m and many of the state-of-art instruments were connected with the voltage, so that the visitors were able to learn its functions at the spot.
